Performance Series for Intermediate to Advanced Doumbek

Ready to take your percussion skills to the next level?
Maximize your practice with advanced techniques. Build up your playing arsenal including embellishing popular rhythms with a few easy leads. Apply these skills on your own while playing for dancers, backing up other musicians and shredding at jams.
This workshop is based on the Jam Boss original song, "ABC", providing a strong foundation to practice these advanced techniques.
*Requires strong understanding of doumbek basics

2 hour intensive
Beginner - Intermediate Doumbek
Saturday September 1pm - 3pm @ MATCH
This intensive will help percussionists identify popular Middle Eastern rhythms and introduce a variety of doumbek strikes. You will learn practice tools for improving your techniques and connect rhythms that develop into an original drum song, "ABC", composed by Jam Boss Mr.B.
