Join ms. YET for a training, mentorship, and performance opportunity in the art of fire manipulation and bellydance.
In this 6-part immersive, hands-on series, you will learn the history of fire manipulation in performance, foundations of fire safety, and receive an introduction to fire bellydance props. We will explore adding fire and flame effects to bellydance movements such as slinky hip circles, arm movements, turns and foot patterns to create combinations with various fire props. Warm ups will include drills for solid bellydance technique, followed by a lecture and Q&A. This series will culminate in an in person training where each student will have an opportunity to burn fire props and practice all aspects of fire safety. There is an optional performance opportunity at FLOWriety Fire.
This series is limited to only 5 participants to provide comprehensive direction and personalized attention
